Located within Abbey Park at the heart of Leicester, Abbey Park Miniature Railway is maintained and operated by volunteers from Leicester Society of Model Engineers Ltd.
Re-opening for train rides on Sunday 24th March 2024
Abbey Park Miniature Railway is currently closed to the public for scheduled maintenance. We will be re-opening for train rides on Sunday 24th March 2024 (12:30pm until 4:00pm).
Train Rides
Weather permitting, we open to the public for train rides on Sunday afternoons, and Bank Holiday Monday afternoons, from Easter until the end of October.
Rides cost £1.50 per person with under 5s riding for free. Cash or card payments are accepted.

Santa Special 2024

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to experience our Santa Special last year. This year's event will be taking place on Sunday 8th December 2024. Tickets will be on sale later in the year.
